Overview
This website (masonbacotti.com and its subdomains) is a personal portfolio of web projects. I take your privacy seriously: this site collects as little information as possible, and what it does collect is only used to operate the site and respond to you.
Information I collect
I collect information only when you choose to share it:
- Contact form: if you send a message through the contact page, I receive your name, email address, and message so I can reply.
- Newsletter signup: if you subscribe on ResellFinder, I receive your email address (and any categories you pick) so I can send the newsletter.
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone, except as described below.
How I use your information
- To reply to messages you send me.
- To send newsletters you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe anytime with one click).
- To understand which projects people use, so I can improve them.
Cookies
This site itself sets no tracking cookies. Some projects store small amounts of data in your own browser (local storage) — for example, saving your Math Drill progress or site preferences. That data never leaves your device and I can't see it.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense or similar advertising partners. These partners may use cookies — including the Google DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
Analytics
I may use privacy-friendly analytics to see aggregate, anonymous statistics like page views and which projects get visited. This data can't identify you personally.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before contacting me or subscribing to anything.
Data retention
Messages and newsletter subscriptions are kept only as long as needed to reply or to keep sending what you asked for. If you'd like your information deleted, contact me (see below) and I'll remove it.
Your choices
- Don't want emails? Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
- Want your data deleted? Just ask — see contact below.
- Prefer no cookies? You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
